BATFN has been meeting regularly since June of 2009. These gatherings have included graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, researchers, and faculty from Stanford, the University of California-Berkeley, and the University of California-San Francisco; representatives from the Betty and Gordon Moore Foundation, the Rainforest Action Network (RAN), British Petroleum (BP), Wal-Mart, New Forests, the California Energy Commission, the California Academy of Sciences, the Amazon Conservation Team, the Packard Foundation, the Natural Capital Project, and the Tropical Forest Group, among others; and members of the media.
